3DL STUDIUM
Problematics of Experimental Architecture
3rd year spring semester form project
3D Lab (3DL) represents a complete system of workflows and equipment for the acquisition of spatial data, processing and production of tactile outputs, that enriches the architectural design process by creating a connection between digital and physical environments.
The aim of the course is to investigate the problematic, that arises from creating novel spatial concepts and implementing them to architecture in general and in relations to specific project themes.
By governing the possibilities of 3DL’s equipment and software, a complete digital-physical development cycle is created, consisting in addition to software and translation skills, the handling of various rapid prototyping methods to produce physical 3D prototypes and scale models.
